In macOS, when you hold the shift key, the mouse scrolling horizontally instead of vertically.
However, it is not the desired behaviour when you play some games because the shift key is most likely used for particular actions, such as sprinting.
This app is created to resolve this issue. The shift key event will be automatically removed while you scroll the mouse wheel so gamers can keep sprinting when they do Shift + Scroll.
Exit this app will revert to the default horizontal scrolling behaviour.
Please follow the below steps to grant the necessary permission when you run the app for the first time (Please note that it requires administrator privilege to grant permissions):
1. Go to "System Preferences".
2. Click "Security & Privacy".
3. Go to the "Privacy" tab
4. Choose "Accessibility" from the left panel
5. Click the lock to make changes.
6. Enter your login password.
7. Allow "Shift Scroll.app"
8. Exit and start the app again.
9. Enjoy
